Shiva Shiva Shiva Shiva, Nama sumara nara.
Sakala manoratha purana kari.

Ravana nama liyo dridha manase, Sakala deva ajna shiradhari.

Nandigana jaba sumarana kino, Kalapasha tatkala nivari.

Upamanyu muni kare tapasya, Dudhasamudra kiyo badabhari.

Brahmananda yahi vara mange, Bhaktidana dije tripurari.

This hymn is a devotional praise of Lord Shiva, invoking his sacred name four times and encouraging devotees to remember him constantly. The verses recount various legendary devotees of Shiva - Ravana who received divine authority through his devotion, Nandigana who was freed from the noose of death, and the sage Upamanyu whose penance filled the ocean with milk. The hymn concludes with a prayer to Lord Shiva as Tripurari (destroyer of the three cities) to grant the ultimate boon of pure devotion, following the example of Brahmananda who sought only devotional service rather than material gains.
